Arrow Root Adventure at Kalaalayam

Arrow root (கூவைக்கிழங்கு / കൂവ) is a staple crop at our Kadankode garden, and we decided to give it a try at Kalaalayam Farm. It’s thriving beautifully here, with even the average size of the roots surpassing the original. We’ve completed this year’s harvest, and I’m pleased to report that my first trial of baby food made from it has been a success. Looking ahead, we plan to expand our production next year!
