Battle for the Pumpkin

Pumpkin (பரங்கிக்காய் / മത്തൻ) was once an unfamiliar taste to me. However, after receiving seeds from a traditional seed seller last year, my perspective changed completely. This medium-sized vegetable now tastes divine.

I've been eagerly awaiting the next bloom and harvest, much like a child in anticipation. Unfortunately, the peacocks have been relentless, managing to harvest every pumpkin before I could. This time, I’m growing them solely to collect seeds, and fortunately, the peacocks seem to respect my efforts.
