Mesmerizing Mangoes Sweetened Further!
In recent months, we’ve been catching up on farm updates, and one exciting project we missed sharing was our homemade mango sweets made from raw mangoes. This was a first-time venture for Sreeba and it came about during the lockdown when we were all looking for creative ways to keep busy.
To create these delightful treats, we started by grinding and filtering the mangoes. The mango pulp was then boiled with black salt, chili powder, and country sugar powder. As the mixture reached a semi-solid consistency, it was poured into a thin layer on a plate and left to dry in the sunlight for a few days. Once dried, the mango sheet was cut into fun shapes that appeal to children.
These mango sweets not only offer a burst of natural flavor and vibrant color but also serve as a healthy alternative to store-bought snacks laden with preservatives. It’s a wonderful way to provide a tasty treat for our children while keeping it all-natural.
