A Tree is Flowering to Speak
Last June, I planted a fertilizer plant called Quick Stick (சரக்கொன்றை / ശീമക്കൊന്ന) as part of my farm nursery. My intention was to use cuttings from this tree to propagate many more of the same kind across the farm.
Two days ago, as I was clearing the weeds beneath this tree, I paused for a long time, pondering which branch to cut. Once I made up my mind, I held the chosen branch and silently told it that in two days, it would be cut.
But today, I am utterly shocked. The tree responded in the most unexpected way. It blossomed beautifully, as if to say, “Think again.” I never imagined this tree could flower so magnificently. How can I cut this branch now? What an incredible and loveable response... Oh, My Mother!
